DANCE FOR THE SOUL

Looking for something fun and exciting to do that can enrich your soul and benefit your overall well being?  Why not try Stepdancing!

Stepdancing is not only a unique style of dance but a great form of exercise for all ages.  Anyone can learn.  Tiny tots learn rhythm and how to count beats in the accompanying fiddle music while improving balance and self-confidence. Adults benefit from the gradual process of learning steps as they increase in level of difficulty as well as improving their overall stamina. Each student learns at their own pace.  Stepdancing  is a wonderful way to stimulate the brain, strengthen leg muscles and improve coordination.  Best of all, Stepdancing is a great way to incorporate a little more physical activity in your weekly schedule.  Whether you participate as a family or on an individual basis, it is an opportunity to meet new people while having fun.

Classes run from September until June at which time the dancer may choose to spend the holidays travelling throughout Ontario participating in Fiddling and Stepdance Competitions, should you have that competitive spirit. Or you may just want to dance for your own enjoyment. Classes are ongoing and new students are welcome anytime during the September to June timeframe.

Some former students have gone on to perform the art of Stepdancing all over the world and others are passing on their skill to students of their own.  Why not give it a try!
